Hellraiser (2022) — Behind the Design
Commissioned to document the practical effects work of Russell FX for the 2022 Hellraiser reboot,
I captured the transformation of concept to creature in the reimagining of the iconic Pinhead and cast of Cenobites.
My lens followed the visceral process of sculpting, prosthetics, and SFX application— revealing
the craft, detail, and modern horror sensibility behind their updated look.
The resulting imagery bridges horror mythology with contemporary character design,
offering a rare glimpse into the making of a new nightmare.
